DOBREE MUSEUM

After a selection among 131 candidates, five offices took part on this competition. The project is about the renovation and the extension of the Historical and Natural Dobrée Museum.

It consists in a vast new space under ground which reaches all the buildings around; the partial reuse of the Voltaire building (fully dressed with a wood skin) and a flat element (the auditorium) who links the old historical building (the museum) with the Voltaire building (the library)
